Anyone play with the 6.5 caliber 123gr. weight bullets at velocities over 3100f/s? Looking at some QL results, and can get to 3300f/s without too much effort. Just wondering if they made it to 100 and if they held together to 1k.

I would like to get 140gr 6.5mm bullets going around 2800 - 2850fps. I’ve read that for the 6.5x47 Lapua, bullets less then 140grs is a better choice. However I still see people shooting the 6.5x47 with 140gr bullets around .260 speeds. I think that I have the Zak Smith 6.5mm shoot out...
I know some of you are not aware that Rocky Mountain Bullets in Philipsbug, MT. (406)498-1934 are making .408, lead core-copper jacket match grade bullets, 420gr., 874 bc bullets. Just alittle FYI for for the .408 cheytac shooters.
