I live in a small town, so, not so noticeable here. I do make it into the big city from time to time.
Fact, went shopping and out to dinner yesterday. Wife and I, was outside of the restaurant, was having a smoke, noticed two black families going in to eat, said my usual hello's, nothing. Yes, we are a white couple, but, IMO, there is a change in the air. People are starting to be more stand-off'ish. I mean, F, we have been playing this game for over a year now, and in my observation, people are somewhat changed. I don't live in a metro area, but, I do participate in everyday life. Maybe, I'm reading too much into it, or, I'm the one F'd in the head (I really don't think so) but, my gut feeling, people are changing, even if it's just the slightest bit, and we may not be headed in a good direction.
