Hi- Was wondering if anyone was using a 1:16 twist 9mm barrel and running 147's subsonic successfully? From everything I've googled, some say yes, and some say no... Just want a good answer before I buy a new threaded barrel.

Where did you research 1:16 for the 9MM?

There have been many 9mm pistols produced with a 16 twist barrel. They can and do perform well with 115, 124 and 147 grain bullets. That said, it led the company I worked for to change from 16 to 10 twist to improve accuracy. Oh, and I'm talking handguns instead of PCC carbines or AR type pistols.
