10/22 expectations

What is the best one could expect from a really tricked out 10/22? Is there a better semi auto I should consider?

There are a lot of variables to your question. Given a quality barrel with a match chamber and good ammo, I have seen 1/4 inch groups at 50yrds.

I'm pretty new to the 10/22's and after reading allot of threads on Rimfire Central I sent my stock carbine off to Connecticut Precision Chambering and let Randy do a "full" tune up. At 50 yards it bug holes, windy and quick it groups at no more than 3/8th inch. My goal was for hunting small game only 20 to 70 yards or so. I have not tested it at 100 or beyond and really don't care, for what my intentions were I'm very happy with how it performs.

My 10/22 was pretty accurate,I put a GM barrel on and bedded the stock.Using wolf ammo at 100 yards it groups about nickel size with some flyers.
