So I finally got 'em. They accidentally shipped to my billing address in NE and mom had to turn it around and send it to me, then it sat at the PO for a few days I imagine. I got the combo throw lever/billet level with upgraded levers. The upgraded levers are solid, no hollow space in the top. Looks and feels to be a solid material. Has a metal boss inside for the screw. The USO scopes have a knurled mag adj. so the rough, lined interior of the throw lever easily grabbed onto it and I was able to hold it and turn it while lining it up and it didn't slip. I don't know how tight to get 'em, remember that being an issue with people gorilla twisting it in, so I just got it really snug holding the short end of the allen key so as to limit the leverage and force applied. They're not stripped and haven't pulled through but are very snug.
That throw lever will easily adjust from low to high on the LR17 and ER25, both which have very stiff adj., fast and smoothly and it doesn't slip or move and it grabs the scope all the way around so stress should be evenly distributed from the lever. Feels well made and is solid, so I'm guessing it'll last a while. Also not being metal, it won't damage the scope if it gets hit hard on that part if protruding, it'll just break instead and can be replaced. So I haven't had time to really put it through the paces but so far so good and I'm very satisfied. Can adjust mag. much faster with this and it's obviously easier too.
In fact, my only complaint is that I didn't order at least a throw lever for each of my other scopes. Next time he has a sale, I'll do it for sure saying they hold up, which I have no reason to believe they won't. And I'll be getting the upgraded CF mix because this seems pretty solid, especially for the price.
The billet level was just super simple and made to just the right size. I got the low profile versions for both an LR17 and ER25. I used my Wheeler levels to set it up so it's spot on level to the barrel. Doesn't get in the way of the elevation wheel or the ACI (when I get the ACI). Just overall very well pleased and satisfied with what I got. These generally sell for quite a bit more elsewhere, and they're an amazing deal packaged with the throw lever too. They look good too and nothing interferes with anything else.
Here's a view from behind on both. ER25 on .50 HTI on left, LR17 on SR25 on right:
