Thanks to GAP and a host of other individuals, I was fortunate enough, or should I say very lucky, to become the owner of a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle. The rifle was raffled at The GAP Grind match that was held in October, and I was the lucky SOB whose name was drawn.
Yesterday I had a chance to sight-in the Kahles 624i and break-in the rifle. I used Hornady 140gr AMAX factory ammo. I wasn't expecting for it to shoot as well as it did. OG13, who is a SH member, will be the first to tell you that I am far from being a good shooter, especially when using a bipod.
The following are pictures of the first 5 shot groups out of the rifle at 100 yards, and few 5 shot groups at 200 yards. Cherry picking the best group is a practice I don't follow. It's obvious that I need to refine my shooting skills. The first group at 200 yards was horrible!!!
Overall, I am really happy with the rifle. I can't wait to see how it shoots with reloads.
A HUGE THANKS goes out to George and GAP, and Rich Emmons!!!!
