Advanced Marksmanship 1000 yrd POI between MILs and MOAs

Just want to make sure I have my math correct so with out going through all my calculations:

1/10th of a mil is .36 at 100 yards so .10 should be 3.6 inches at 1000

1/4 moa is .261 at 100 so it should be 2.61" at 1000

Is this right or am I AFU?

I ask because I'm trying to put this MOA Mils for ranging in perspective.

A quarter MOA at 1000 yards is probably closer to 2.618, which I'd round off to 2.62 inches - but when we start quibbling about a hundred of an inch at 1000 yards, we're pretty much engaging in mental masturbation.

I've been doing alot of that lately.

I did round my numbers. I didn't want to scare off the common folk with my giant brain of knowledge
