I don’t know if this is the right place for it but let’s hear all y’all’s opinions/experiences with the 115 rdf and dtacs. I’m wanting to try a 115 and have heard mixed reviews on both. TYI!

Might need some more info... Like cartridge, usage, velocity range, shooting distances, etc...

If you're referring to .243/6mm Nosler 115 RDF's, then I have 1000 of them sitting beside my bench for loading for my 6mm ARC bolt-action. Started load development today, and they show promise on the first initial round of rough node finding, and max safe powder charge.

Yes sorry, it’s going to be for PRS in dasher behind Varget. I’ve just heard of some questionable QC behind DTAC’s, and RDF’s just being inconsistent. However, I have recently heard that both have fixed their problems now and are G2G. So I just wanted to hear experiences people have had with both.

I have been experiencing some issues with DTAC's lately. They have not been consistent to 800 yds. The weird part is that they have been grouping less than half MOA at 100 yds and sometimes close to a quarter MOA. I don't believe it's a stability factor. I'm pushing them at 3070 fps with a 7.5 twist.

I have since then switched to Barnes 112 Match Burners and getting great consistency to 800 yds and they print .5 MOA or better at 100 yds. The node for the 112's for me is at 3025 fps.

I'll be taking some measurements of the DTAC's soon to try to find out any irregularities of my batch.

Hopefully the new RDF's are better than the originals.

I bought 1-2k of the original RDF's when they first came out to load in 6.5 Creedmoor. They were a solid 1-1.5 MOA bullet in a ~3/8 MOA rifle.

Lots of random fliers with the RDF's.

I had the same exact problem in my 6.5 creed. That’s why I’m real curious with the 115’s

To this day the 115 RDF is the most confusing bullet I’ve ever shot. I developed a pretty good load with them in a 6 gt I had. Didn’t have time to shoot it past 100 as I didn’t have a range set up at the time. Decided to shoot a one day match with them confident I true up any bugs in my data on the fly at the match.
Long story short, it was the worst match experience I’ve ever had, period. I was over targets, under targets, everywhere except on targets. I think I shot something like 13 total points for the day and typically I’m an upper 1/3 shooter.
I couldn’t get any consistent data with them. I’m not sure if it was me, my data inputs, or the bullet, but I was so disgusted, I never tried them again. Went back to shooting 105 hybrids and hammered, go figure.
I think I still have the leftover ones somewhere if you want to test them. PM me if you’re interested, you can have them.
