Thanks for the video.

I like that JTG guy

He's got that ELR down to a science doesn't he ?!

I've seen him make a cold bore shot at a mile on a couple occasions!!!

Re: 1460 Yard Video,Flight Time and Audible Steel Hits

Dave and Steve and JTG, we need to get together one of these weekends. Dave, are weekends better for you?

Re: 1460 Yard Video,Flight Time and Audible Steel Hits

Sounds reasonable Dave. I'll set it up with JTG, Steve123 and we'll get the time and date.

Re: 1460 Yard Video,Flight Time and Audible Steel Hits

Dave JTG, kinda puts a measley 2 sec flight time shot into perspective. i gotta get to these dist . whats the barrel length/twist, bullet wts/ brand, holds and atmosphere stats? looks like you guys had great conditions, but man....4 1/2 sec, thats some hang time!

Re: 1460 Yard Video,Flight Time and Audible Steel Hits

believe my surgeon is 26" w? 9.3 twist, loves 300 gr but I believe the bergers are out performing my scenars easily, 2757 fps seated loooong. t/51, h/29.6, b/p27.21 Dalt 4377 6 to 7 mph from 2:00 had almost 1 full mil dialed and adj w/ wind depending on flag then it did a 180 degree change which is typical in the desert. the next day wind was 15mph, gotta love the wind.

once the air moves away the sound signature is carried w/ it, but when it's blowing towards you it's great hearing the gong at 1950 yards.

Berger bullets rock... almost like cheating

Dave will dial you in on his rig, it was the hammer of the gods....
