I took my 16" LaRue OBR out to 1100 yards the other day with some very pleasing results. We started at 1000 and then moved to 1100. After 1000, it took 2 shots to get on steel at 1100. Out of 8 shots, I got 6 including the last 5 in a row. Both misses were just low right. The load is 42.2 of H4895, 175 SMK, CCI primers, and Rem brass. Here's a pic of the rifle and target:
We then painted it and make 56 more hits with 3 different .308 bolt guns and another full mag out of the OBR:
Next week, we're going to move a steel target to 1300 to wee how we can do there.
