I can't fathom why they went with AICS size mags. There is no benefit without a chassis that is r700 compatible. AICS sized mags are a handicap in 22LR platforms, not an advantage. 22LR has been feeding without issue out of curved mags for decades when they get it right. Rim lock and mag presentation issues are exacerbated with these larger, straight fed mags.

Have not had issues with my Rim-X mags. Can not speak on the Vudoo, have seen them rim lock. If the mags are of good quality, it will be a benefit IMHO. Small mags are harder change on the clock from what I have noticed.
 
Anschutz North America should have the skinny on that rifle
Nothing wrong with Anschutz magazines, and I run (RimX & Anschutz) both in identical chassis.
