1911 Display Case Ideas

Im looking to make a nice display case for my great grandfathers 1911 from WWII . Its not the best looking piece but something I want kept nice for a long time. I was thinking about something four sided maybe with a mirror in the the back. I just wanted to see what you guys were rocking, below is a pick of what Im looking at. Minus the barrel mount, and something I want to build myself.

Looks nice. Another idea is instead of a barrel mount just use an old mag and mount it to the base plate of the display. Cheap, simple, and easy to take off and put it back it.
