    Hey all,

I know, weird car. But there's one for sale in my AO and just because it's weird and odd I decided to take a look. It's super clean and well kept. It has sub 34,000 miles and clean title. They want $5000 for it. I'm thinking it might be worth it for re-sale.

Check engine light is on and we took it for a diagnosis and cylinder is the issue. Supposedly it might be spark plug, wire, or coil.

    Any thoughts?

They are actually a very good car if you don’t let them overheat. Change the oil often and they will run a couple hundred thousand miles. I’ve had one. They are not very good in town on gas though about 12 miles to the gallon.

I bought one from a funeral home just like this one had 31,000 miles on it I paid 2500 for it and sold it for six grand that was two years ago mine was absolutely mint
I do believe this one belonged to a funeral home at some point. Although it's not your typical funeral car where they have the body as it has seats all the way back.

I imagine this is something a mafia boss would use to take his family to fancy dinners in the early 2ks lol. Should at least have some bullet proofing but no, it's just a normal car and very well taken care of.

Yeah, not a hearse, would have been for ferrying family to and from the cemetary. Should have been kept spotless inside and out. Too bad about the check engine light.

The check engine light according to guy who diagnosed is either spark plug, coil, or wire. I'm really not too worried about what it is. I'm more worried about getting to it as it's a v8 that sits sideways and the one that's fucked up is the one from cylinder 3. Cylinder 3 is on the back of the engine bay or closer to the cabin.

If you're not your own mechanic with diagnostic tools I'd pass.

Old Cadillacs make nice drivers for the handy guy with $50k in tools.

They do not make sense for the guy who would rather buy a $50k car that is reliable.

They're engineered more like a German car. Take care of it well and 100k is easy. Miss any maintenance and the bills quickly overtake the cost to replace.
