I would like to thank the sponsors that made the 2011 2 day Findlay Cup rifle match a success!
In no particular order:
Precision Water Jet, Sierra, Berger, Warren, Seekins Precision, Jim's Plumbing, R Bro's rifles, Cascade Graphics, Three Forks ammo, Prazer Construction, Agency firearms, High Mountain Hunting, NCW Gun Club, Savage firearms, Badger Ordnance, Ultramax ammo, Tom the owner of the land used for the field and helicopter courses.
We had a very successful match. Rained hard on day one. Competitors found what worked and what didn't in trying conditions.
Day one had a mover at 290 yards, static targets out to 700 yards, shooting from and through barriers, roofs, a moving platform and a night shoot out to 285 yards.
Day two had field conditions and shots out to ~1100 yards, including some standing, shooting over a rise at 400 yards to hit an out of sight target at 800 yards and 60 rounds per team at 30 knots from a helicopter.
Thank you also the the score keepers,R.O.'s and pilot for their tremendous effort to make this a very smoothly run match.
I will add the rest of the sponsors after I check with the match staff They know more than me....
