I don't get to compete like I used to. One thing I always said...if I could only shoot one match a year, it would be one of David Tapp's and his awesome crew at Steel City. A place that lots of friendships were cultivated and still very strong to this very day.
I will be there representing Nightforce Optics and look forward to shooting a fantastic match, seeing old friends, and making new.

Nevermind, I just looked at the BGTC calender...
Glad you see the value Todd! Wait 'till you see how fun the stages will be!
If we raffle the rifle, only participants with hair will be eligible to win
Hey wait a minute.....................................................
Sweet!!!! !
Well you know, God gave hair to some and brains to others.
Ok, all you follicley challenged folks calm down, the AO Custom rifle, along with a bunch of other nice stuff, will be on the prize table. Everyone will be shooting for it!
U guys are doing something right cause that's a hell of a rifle for a 100$ match. Good job. U plan to raffle it so some of us hacks get a chance at it or is it the number one prize ?

Magwells are fine. The rules are a bit wordy, but basically everything is OK for pistol with the exception of comps, porting or electronic sites.
STI/SVI mags are gtg with +1 or +2 base pads. The key thing is to bring a pistol you're comfortable shooting. Glocks, M&P's etc will be just as competitive as USPSA limited pistols. There will be plenty of fun pistol shooting with valuable points to be picked up but 80%ish of the available match points will be with the rifle.
I'm in as a sponsor, possibly a shooter. Just to confirm, if I can make it down...I have a bone stock Glock 34 that I slapped a burris fastfire III on, this pistol would not be allowed?
Still have spots available?
David, what sort of transitions are we going to be doing from pistol to rifle, just at beginning/end of stages or throughout the stages?, slung?, clearing then onto a designated surface? Will we need to be carrying all of our gear during transitions?

There may be some falling plates used throughout the courses of fire. Shooting lighter pistol loads typical in 3 gun matches will work. Expect a combo of falling and hanging steel and paper targets.
Will the FN 5.7 pistol be ok?
Entry is mailed.
All entries after Oct 1 must shoot the entire match with the pistol only
Glad you can make it Mike! I will call you this afternoon. I promise I haven't been ignoring you!
Negative. Velocity is too high and can damage steel targets.
Dave, lets connect off line if we need to discuss further.
No sir, no problems at all. I'll run either my 9mm or 45 ACP. I've just taken a liking to the 5.7 is all.
