Already beginning preparation.
Looking forward to it as well.
Also, will enjoy renewing visiting with friends and new shooters.
Oh yeah, I do need to drop some pounds as well :)

Anyone know where to find the WTRC waiver? I see one is required with each registration, but I don't see where you can print one out....getting ready to send off my registration! Looking forward to another awesome match! Looking forward to it.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking too, I ended up printing a copy of the rules and signing that and sending it in with my registration, but I thought the same thing that during the shooter meeting that they passed around the waiver to sign, I was just hesitant to send in the registration if I was missing something as far as a waiver goes... but I finally just sent it in, otherwise I would keep procrastinating and not get it done,

1 more day and a wake-up and I will be getting on the jet-plane and heading North! Looking forward to it! Its been hotter than the hubs of hell down here and from what I saw in the forecast it looks like highs in the mid 80's up there....that sounds AMAZING!!! Looking forward to sending some rounds down range with all y'all!

We just got confirmation that a couple of us from Steiner and Burris will make it out to shoot. I heard great things about this match and the people who run it. I can’t wait to see the ranch and see what we can learn from the shooters and RO/Staff that make this happen.
Safe travels and we will see you guys soon!

Sky

Looking forward to seeing you.
Just got my rig transformed for the match.
On Memorial Day weekend my 7mm LRM looked like this:

After that I took off the 7 LRM barrel and put on the 7WSM barrel. It turned in my best 10 shot group at a grand as well with a 8 inch group.

Then this afternoon, I took of the bench stock and put on the McRee.
Took off the 7WSM barrel and put on the 7LRM barrel.
Took of the original Gunwerks brake and put on a Holland Radial Brake.
The Sightron S-III 8-32 came off and on went a FFP Leupold 6.5-20 with Holland's all MOA ART Reticle.

I thought about chopping the barrel down, but I still have not done the load development with Retumbo yet.
I will take the added MV advantage for this comp for sure.
Also added a sling swivel stud in the back on the left side, so I can sling it up.
Now the 7 LRM is ready for WTRC

Awesome match! Great shooting with all you guys. It was an awesome/grueling course of fire as usual! Unlike any other matches we shoot, really enjoy the change of pace. Really nice course of fire and a great group of shooters and R.O's. already looking forward to next year. Thanks again Frank, Chuck, and everyone who puts in all the work behind the scenes so we can come out and have fun and shoot...it is awesome! Really cool all the money you guys give to the wounded warriors too, can't say enough good things about all the people shooting the match and running it.

Awesome match, good seeing everyone. Match was very well run, and the top notch R.O.s were easy to work with. Many thanks to those who put this match on, it was quite obvious they put a lot of hard work and effort into making this match go smoothly.

This was our third year, and already looking forward to next.

Thank you everyone. If you are looking for a team match, this match had four challenging courses, a team on team shoot-off, fun side matches, a beautiful ranch, great ROs, was very well organized, we ate like kings, there was a great prize table, cash payback, and the staff couldn't have been more hospitable or friendly. It was our first time, we learned a little, and will be back next year to give it another go. Great job staff on a great match. We know it takes a lot of hard work and we appreciate the time and effort! p.s. these guys donate all of the proceeds to the Wyoming Wounded Warrior hunts. Good people.

I know this was asked last year.
I meant to ask the guys if it was okay to list names of the top places, but in the midst of everything I forgot.
I remember the top four teams, but after that it gets fuzzy.
I will see what I can do.

Great match. Thanks to the sponsors, Chuck, Frank, all the RO's, and staff. There was a lot of hard work went into putting on this match, and it showed. Great bunch of folks to shoot with, we had a blast. Raising funds for Wounded Warriors hunts was great. We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to our veterans and should never forget their sacrifice. We enjoy this sport, along with all of our freedoms, because of our veterans. God bless. Looking forward to next year.

How about some points? Like total possible vs actual points scored?

Brown and Crump are great guys and great field shooters.
When they told me they were running toward the end of course 3, I thought to myself, "It would be nice to be 20 years younger for this game." :)
We were 10th with around 5050 points, I think the winners were around 8200+. Shooting 80%+ in those conditions was amazing! Those guys were amazing to watch!

Here are some pics for you. Thanks to Ken Stoecklin (Bear Tooth Photography) from Casper who took all of these pictures! Maybe we can get Ken a partner and have him shooting more than pictures in the future :)

Another great year.
The hospitality was unsurpassed.
RO's were top notch, Pete, Derek, Jake and the Bill's.
Thanks to everyone involved, the team on team ran much smoother and course 3 was the best.

Not 100% associated with the WTRC, but last night we held our annual ELR shoot that we try to get in right after the comp. It's comprised mostly of WTRC contestants, and I wanted to highlight one of the guys who shot.
First off, we have full size IPSC's starting at 1350 and have 9 of them out to varying distances to 2073. So we started at 1350, it was dark by the time we finished at 1 mile, so we didn't shoot the last three. 4 shots by each at a target, wind up to 15mph blowing directly at us, but gusting and fishtailing left to right, it made follow up hits all but impossible.

OK, to the story, 15 year old Zach, the youngest shooter to ever compete in the WTRC, most likely the former ITRC also, managed to score a first round hit at 1 mile, first time he's ever shot past 1350 yards. It was quite an accomplishment, one I've never witnessed before, and he did it on his own, own gun, his dope, wind call, the works. I felt sorry for him as the wind was just laying down, but the light was fading so fast, we couldn't spot his subsequent shots to get him back on target. His shot was the sole hit on the target, so hats off to Zach from all of us old bastards that couldn't keep up!!

Oh, and before any of you gurus start yaking about MOA size target, he hit well within moa on the aiming portion of the target.
So congrats Zach!
