208s are a bit on the heavy side for a 308, despite their great BC. The '06 and the .30 magnums are where they shine.
I'd be surprised if you can get 2550-2600 fps out of them without blowing out your brass in one shot.
155 Skinnies at 2950 are tough to be, out to 1k.

Wow, you're really misinformed. I've shot upwards of 2600 from a short 20" barrel, and gotten quite a bit more than 1 reload from my brass. I'm not sure that I could get 2950 from 155's without tearing up brass.
