I have tried to get something informative started on this subject before, but have failed. While I feel that I can rebarrel or build a CF rifle from a barel blank that shoots damn well, I haven't got a clue as to do the same with a .22 Rimefire. I have a bunch of old model target .22s that shoot fantastic, but I would love to be able to rebarrel any of them if I felt like it. I also have a couple of friends that would want me to help them out if only I knew how. I have all the equipment, I think, just no knowledge.

So, is there any chance that someone out there that knows their stuff on this subject would be willing to put together a pictured tutorial on how to? I'm not asking the business owners making a living to share. I'm sure there are hobby workers that do a damn good job and have nothing to lose by sharing a little info.

I'm no pro, but I've shared all I know on my you tube channel for all to learn from that didn't know where to start.

If anyone knows of a really good source that's already out there, please let me know. Thanks.

I haven't been too involved with rimfire match grade rifles so take it FWIW ;-) I've seen some of your stuff (nice work BTW) so I say just do it.

Seems the tricks boil down to a good bbl, a match reamer (basically no throat) and AMMO!

Lilja caters to the rimfire target crowd with tight bores. You might also search Bill Calfee (SP?) He's pretty well versed on rimfires. He used to post on here.

Thanks for your inputs guys. I will continue to do as you have suggested on more rimfire dedicated forums. I'm mostly on SH, but sometimes you need to go outside the box. Again, thanks you.
