223 and 88 gr. Eld mag length?

This is the bolt action section, so do you mean AICS magazine?

I’ve loaded 80 ELDs to 2.600, you should easily be able to do the same with the 88s. I hadn’t tried the 88s but can’t imagine you can push them fast enough to match the 80s at 2850, which is what I’m getting with mine.

I'm running the berger 80.5 a 2.505 they fit in the accumag aics pattern with 24.5 grains of varget velocity 2885 28" barrel I got a friend running the 88 hornadys between 24-5 grains varget I think his velocity is 2750

Shooting them at mag length in my bolt gun with filed Accurate Mags.
COAL = 2.515
24.3 gr of Varget
Lapua brass
CCI 400s
Velocity is 2805 with a 27" barrel. I don't anticipate good brass life though they have held up through 4 reloadings so far.

I have been wanting to try some 88’s but have not had time to mess with them yet. I would expect my rifle to shoot them around 2850. It shoots the 75 elds over 3000 and the the 80’s just under.
