223 bolt gun 75-80 gr no ackleys

Have been playing with 25.6 gr of RL15 and 77 SMK but they have not shot as good as 69 SMK in the barrel yet.

77s have been averaging in the .4" area i really wanna try some solid coppers like the Tsx

Thank you!!!! I've had numerous lbs of cfe223 for years and never had any luck getting it to shoot. Always ran varget or xbr. Well, after having trouble getting both the speed I was wanting and a good sd, so I gave this a shot after seeing this and another post on this thread. Glad i did!! Had two great groups, 26.2gr and 26.7

I'm excited about the cfe223 load because the stuff flows out of a powder dump like my money out of my old ladies purse!!! I tested 10 dumps on scale after I shot today, and all 10 were on the money! Time to get the dillon 650 going again

That’s awesome. I redid my 223 loads recently and cfe223 was what went with again. Similar results with Varget but it flows like water.

It was just a sammi specs reamer that we throated out longer I don't no freebore sorry but cbto is 2.035 and oal is 2.510 .the cbto of 2.035 is 20 thousandths off

CFE223 seems to behave somewhat like CFE Pistol: shitty with lighter loads and lighter bullets for caliber, then turns it on at the top end.
