All the loading manuals and data out in the world are just a starting point. The maximum load in all firearms will differ from one gun to the next. From lot to lot, for bullets, powder, barrels etc. So many variables that a book could never have a perfect load for all of them. All while the books normally stay on the safe side of pressures. The older manuals have much hotter loads then the newer printed ones. Probably for liability reasons, everyone being sue happy now days.
All loads should be started low and worked up while watching for pressure signs, working up to find the maximum load in your particular firearm.
