243 bore diameter

I'm about to build a 243 hunting rifle, will shoot some paper as well. I hope to shoot 87 grain vmax up to 105 amax and berger. I will go with an SS, 8 twist barrel in #4 contour.

Does .236 or .237 make any difference for my application?

Get a .237 bore, the tight bore .236 can create pressure issues. I currently run a .236 and I've seen pressure spikes that I think might be cause by the smaller .236 bore and a 105 at 3150 fps.;
