I think there are already a half-dozen or MORE threads about this system as its been floating around for a while now, including vids with the company owners/e'ees/etc.!!

There is a company making low end scopes, huskamaw I believe is how you spell it, they charge as if they are high quality, high end scopes, but their claims are almost they same as this rifle, except, you mount one of their scopes, and one of the ballistic compensated turret adjustments, you will be able to make 7,8,even 1000 yard kills (one round) with ease! One of the other boards is run by a huckster that pushes these crappy scopes, and their high prices! I've looked at the site a time or two, I always get the feeling, they have an ulterior motive to everything they say or do. I hope this new technology is a good as has been presented! If so, they won't have any trouble selling all they can make, even at $5,000.00.
Just another product that steers young people into relying on technology for survival instead of grit and brains. People are getting dumber and dumber.
I just see a 12 year kid hacking into the system and redirecting the fire to light up his niehbors cat!
Yep - just like rangefinders, ballistic calculations, optics, metallic cartridges, mass-produced components...
Taken to its logical conclusion, the only way to perform this task with "grit and brains" would be to manufacture each component of the rifle, sighting system, and ammunition yourself, 'cause anything else is "relying on technology". I guess that an iron-sighted flintlock shooting cast lead bullets over homebrew black powder meets your accuracy and firepower requirements.
Personally, I cringe every time I see something like this. New and innovative products are great but too much of it is as bad as it is good. My biggest concern is that pretty soon shooting guns will not be much different than playing x-box. In fact, we won't even need great soldiers, great marksmen, or great anything. I bet that 30 years from now, a medal of honor recipient will be some fat ass college kid who just took out 60 terrorist sitting in his room, eating pizza, drinking bowls, and fantasizing about girls he will never get. I know this is a stretch but you know what I'm trying to get at. Guns like this are meant to give persons with no ability, no desire to practice, and no desire to learn the art of the sport, the ability to do everything an expert shooter can do, a shooter that worked very hard to master the art and perfect his skills. It kills big game at 1103 yards and eliminates all shooter error? You have me sold, now I will really feel like a true and tried hunter!
I had the opportunity to shoot this system... what a dream! Expensive but with technology these days it will be normal soon

It's called PROGRESS. Take it or leave it. Not for me, but my fancy scopes, precision rifles, wind meters and ballistic calculators, I suspect, look like the same type of technical leap to the guys I see shooting 100 year old black powder rifle matches at my range. Watching those matches is very entertaining and informative. Too each his own. Let's all just enjoy the sport to the level of ability that we each individually strive for..... You have to pick and choose you own battles and live with your successes and FAILURES. Good Shooting

I think things like this are what's a big problem with our society. Everything is getting designed to making it easier. Sometimes I think this is bad because especially with kids they don't build character, they don't truly have to work and figure out things to reach goals. It's like back in the old days fisherman had to put their ass in boat seat for years to be great fisherman. They had to be able to read shorelines for depth and structure under the water. Now they can hit a button and learn a body of water in a short while. Yes, I'm one of the sobs using it now. My dad never had one of these in the old days and learned by countless hours in a boat seat. He's already forgot more about fishing than I will ever know because of that he had to " figure it out". Everything being made for kids are making it easy for them,example is motorized scooters, wheels on tennis shoes, and all kinds of shit that keeps them from exerting themselves. They don't understand the value of work cause someone does it for them. I think that's why we're where we're at because technology don't create character, toughness, motivation, and common sense. I'm a old school person with old school thoughts but then again what the hell do I know.
It is called the dumbing down of our society. A lot of the advances since the early 1900's have been aimed to make our life easier but at the same time to create a machine to purchase every product that is produced whether we need it or not.
Most of the people could not live like our grand fathers did when they were young so the plan to make us more dependent on the government is working. Simple chores of normal everyday life 75 years ago are well beyond the reach of the common teen ager of today.
if they get everyone to adapt to this computerized scope then we will soon forget how to aquire dope or call the wind in less than a generation. Then they can pull the plug on this system and poof we are out in the dark.

Dependence upon modern agriculture, medicine, and energy is far greater a concern to me than any laziness that might set in with a computerized rifle scope.
