my dad is about to start loading for these two rounds. Just wondering what you guys think the best powders for these rounds with most common weight gr of bullet for target/hunting rounds. You know a good all around. I was thinking varget for the 30-06 and BL-C2 for the 22-250 and I havn't looked much on 357 yet.

Hodgdon Varget seems to be a top performer for the 22-250.

4895 would be an excellent choice for the rifles. 165 grins for the 06 and 50 or 55 grins for the 22-250 are a good all around weight for theses.

I have used Accurate 2520 for 25 yrs in a 22-250 and now in 308. its an excellent powder.
