I have a 300 PRC and I would like to hear opinions on which ammo is better for long range hunting with better performance and grouping, Hornady 212gr ELD-X or Berger 205gr Elite Hunter
Answer (for me) is ... (c) None of the above.
In my 300 PRC (Barrett MRAD) I get awesome results to beyond a mile with the Berger 220 Long Range Hybrid Target.

The problem is that the only thing I see available in factory ammo is the Hornady 212 or the Berger 205, there is no other availability u less I do a Load Development (which I have no clue how to) thank you all

I too didn't have a clue and shot only factory ammo until about 5 years ago. Then I taught myself, with the help of YouTube and some friends here at the Hide ... and now I couldn't imagine every using factory ammo for anything other than warming up a barrel for my handloads.

Then buy a box of each offering. Fire it and see which one gives you the best groups. That is the absolute only way to know for sure.
Every rifle is somewhat unique. Even 2 rifles with sequential serial numbers assembled by the same people on the same assembly line may differ in their performance when it comes to which ammo they shoot well.
