Hello gentlemen I just picked up a 300 prc and am having a very difficult time finding brass. Does anybody have any idea where a guy can pick some up so I can break in a barrel.

I thought the validity of fire forming 8x68S brass for 300 PRC was done with ADG coming out with their 300 PRC, but perhaps not. You can order RWS 8x68S from Huntington, then size, trim, and ream it for fire forming. You end up with high quality, very consistent brass. I did this for a chunk of my last barrel until ADG released theirs.

If you're interested in how to do this, PM me and I'll send you links to the videos I did showing how it's done.

I think it’s always a good skill/knowledge to have, to make brass from an obscure or available cartridge into a scarce one. Did it with 308 and 243 into 6.5 CM during the last drought.

The ADG run was way short. Instead of filling my back order I got an apology email and my name is back in the hat for the next round. I'm on the Lapua list too. In the mean time I got 50 pieces of Hornady, whoopeeee!
I got 100 ADG 300PRC in one of the earlier runs. Got lucky today and picked up another 100 Hornady from Midsouth while it was in stock for about 15 minutes.
No, I don't feel silly having components and dies for a rifle that isn't built yet.
