[School is in session]You can also run super cheap, super quiet loads like 150 gr FMJ's with 5.0 gr of Titegroup through a bolt gun for plinking. They won't cycle your semi-auto even with a pistol-length gas system. I have lost count of how many Whispers I've owned (single shot, AR's and bolt guns), but the only one I have left is a Douglas-barreled Remmy 700. Send your Winny to them and let them do the rebarrel job. Quick turnaround and decent pricing.[/School is out]

i must need a special kinda school then because your answer can still be done in an AR platform, you just have to single load which is no different than working a bolt. I personnaly dont think the 300 BLK has an accuracy envelope broad enough to warrant a bolt gun when the AR platform is so versatile, just my opinion mind you

[Special Kinda School is in session]Been there, done that VAJay. Pic below is of one of my past Whispers. Registered SBR with a 10 inch Noveske barrel, side charging upper and pistol length, push-button, on-off gas block so I could change between manually operated bolt action and standard semi-auto. I just didn't like it as much as I do my present bolt gun. Not as convenient to operate manually as a bolt gun and a standard AR is even worse with its conventional charging handle placement. Operating a standard AR manually is WAY different than operating a bolt. I do agree that the accuracy difference is neglible between the two platforms with SUBSONIC ammunition.[/Special Kinda School is out]
