I have an FN SPR in 300 wsm, 24' Brux MTU barrel that was true up I hope properly(Depends on who you talk to)
I have always used reloads that someone else had made for me but just bought all the gear to start my own reloading. The rounds I have been using have been WIn brass with a Berger 220 grain. Not sure the charge weight or primer but they shoot damn good, 8-10 inches at 500 yards. Its the shooter not the weapon.
The question is what is better staying with the heavy bullet or coming down to 175-180. I see by the data that the smaller bullets have a higher speed.
Thanks in advance for the help
