Nice rig. There are a few manufacturers that make 1:11.25 twist 308 barrels. My 20" BA has no problem being sub-moa with a 1:10 and 150gr or 168gr ammo. They all will like to eat different food thoughMy effort to make a decent compromise in a.308 AR, and I'm pretty happy with the result. However, now that I've got the precision bug, and have found this place, I may try a conventional scope, with a bipod and see what she can really do. She'll never be a long range gun seeing as how I made her short, and handy, but I would like to see just how much accuracy I can get out of her. I do have a 4-12x44 Vortex Crossfire II sitting around not doing anything... It may lead me to getting her some real nice glass if I can find a load the BA Hanson barrel really likes. So far, she's hovering just around 1". ( a couple groups just under) That's with the PA 1-8, and in keeping with the BA accuracy guarantee, (168 gr FGMM) so I can't complain...
Receivers... Aero Precision with their LPK
Barrel... BA Hanson 14" with pin-and-welded Warcomp
Rail system... Midwest Industries
Scope... Primary Arms 1-8 with the ACSS reticle
BUIS... Troy with tritium
BCG... Lantac enhanced
Recoil system... JP Captured
Trigger... Geissele SSA-E
Furniture... Magpul CTR stock, MOE grip, MVG M-LOK
Weaponlight... Surefire M300 Scout Light
Leftover ambidextrous safety that I can't remember where I got...
Leftover scope mount... same deal... just happened to work out well.
Also of note is the barrel twist. It's a 1/10. Everyone makes barrels in 1/10 these days for the heavier rounds. I got my hands on a stash of the 130 gr Federal T762TNB1 as I figured a short barrel round would do well in my little 14"gun. Turns out it's quite expensive to find an AR barrel in 1/12 twist... This one shoots the heavier rounds better. However, at close ranges, it's still plenty accurate for a combat rifle with the PA 1-8 at the ranges I'd see in my AO. I may try some 175s once I get more scope on her, and the ranges open up again.

When a customer signs up for his third custom rifle, you know what his expectations are - high. I don't think this will disappoint him: 20" 6.5 CM with Bartelin 1x8 barrel from Craddock Precision. Seekins SP10 Builder's Kit, currently made of Unobtanium. Area 419 brake - both super loud and super effective. Dialing that gas down with the usual SLR adjustable gas block. JP FMOS bolt carrier group with JP High Pressure bolt. Geissele Super Charging Handle. JP SCS in 7.62 H2 weight. Trigger Tech Black Diamond (It's actually RED, you know ....) dialed down to 2.0 LB. Cool plastic stuff by Magpul. Cerakote by We Plead the 2nd. Nightforce ATACR F1 4-16x42 with TreMOR3 reticle in Spuhr SP-4026 mount. Fitted hard case by Patriot Cases. Bare rifle weighs in at 10 LB 2 OZ. With scope and mount plus empty magazine 13 LB 2 OZ. Shot way-sub-MOA with Prime 130's at 100 yards from the start.

The Lothar barrels above both have 1:11.25 twist.Nice rig. There are a few manufacturers that make 1:11.25 twist 308 barrels. My 20" BA has no problem being sub-moa with a 1:10 and 150gr or 168gr ammo. They all will like to eat different food though
Damned fine group. I am impressed.I'll play. I have two Armalite AR10's. One was my first, started as an Armalite 24" T upper with a Lothar barrel. Had it cut and crowned to 20". At the time I was in CA so I had to put it on an Aero Precision lower when they were building them on the same forgings that Armalite used. Only difference was the rollmark but it was CA legal. It has Armalite Match parts including the two stage trigger and oversize pins, EGW gas block, SWS E1 hand guard, Magpull trigger guard, Armalite BCG, rifle buffer and spring, Hogue grip and A2 stock. Optic is an older IOR 3-18x42 (probably some of the best glass I own)and I'm not sure what the riser is.

Last time I had it at the range, ten shots at 200 yds. FGMM.

This is my other AR10, more of a battle rifle. Another Armalite on an Aero Precision lower, this one started with a 16" Lothar SASS barrel mounted to an Armalite upper and BCG. The barrel got a glass bead job, Vortex flash hider, EGW gas block and BCM chargeing handle. It also has a SWS E1 carbine hand guard and a Hogue grip. Lower has a Geissele trigger, Magpul trigger guard, oversize match pins and Armalite carbine buffer and spring along with the Vltor IMOD stock. The optic is a USO 1.8-10 x 37 on a Bobro mount and (IIRC) Troy BUIS. Sling is a BFG. This rifle is every bit as accurate as the 20", both shoot .5-.6 moa with FGMM ammo.

Thanks. A lot of people were, me included. I'm really not that good of a shot...it was just one of those days where all the planets were lined up. More luck than anything other than it is a very accurate rifle. I've never come close to re-producing it.Damned fine group. I am impressed.

So thats a all-KAC legit Mk 11 upper? What year of manufacture? How well does it shoot?Built this up a while ago, just been to busy to post pics.
Was going for a MK11 build. Being in CA SR25s are banned by name, so had to go with an LMT lower.
Upper is a clone correct MK11. Lower is an LMT with LMT LPK, KAC buffer tube, spring, buffer, end plate, trigger is a KAC 2 stage and paint was done by my crafty AF wife lol.
