Has anyone tried the Krieger M110 barrel? How is it?
check out Johnny’s Reloading Bench on YouTube. He does load development with it and runs it up against a JP Supermatch barrel. It shot lights out btw

Looks badass, what brand and How much was that stock? Looking for a similar one.My lr-308 build.
Colfax tactical lower
Dpms upper
Fulton bcg
Black hole weaponry 24" bull barrel 1:11 twist
geissele ssa-e trigger
Jp Ben cooley comp
Jp modular hand rail
Slr adjustable gas block
Accu-tac Sr-5 bipod
Accu-shot mono pod
Standard buffer and spring
Phase5 battery assist lever
Bsa ffp 4x14 scope
Vortex scope level
Weaver 20moa riser
Custom machining on the upper for a side charging handle
Fulton armory side charging handle into the left side of the bcg.
Sniper gray cerakote
Took me about 3 years to get it all together, buying pieces when they went in sale. I know the scope is cheap I'll get a better one in the future.
.65" is the best 3 shot group I've had with 168gr PPU at 100 yards. I really need to get out more and get a good 5 shot group.

Can't seem to get get BAD components. It's one thing to have to order something and wait. It's another entirely to order, pay in full, and then wait. Yes, I am waiting for receivers and rails, paid for in full, back in the summer of 2020. As much as I like their work, I don't think the trust is there to spend $$$ with them in the future. What would a build like this run?
Minus optics
how do you like that NF glass w/ the Tremor 3 on that 308? I'm considering.I've fired most SASS platforms and she's definitely a keeper.

Just finished this California Compliant build.
I put 100 rounds through it yesterday and it ran great after I got the gas block dialed in. The SLR gas block is set to the 7th click open. The groups were @ .6 mils at 100yds, (2-ish inch)
All day long it would put 2 rounds on top of each other and then throw a flier. I hope that once I get a good copper base inside the barrel the groups will tighten up.
Aero M5 lower/upper.
Lantac BCG.
Proof carbon 18" 308 10-twist.
APA Lil bastard brake.
SLR adj gas block.
Gieselle SSAE FCG.
API carbon 12" rail. I had to go 85lbs on the barrel nut to get it lined up for the gas tube. It was either 85lbs or 35lbs, I went with 85lbs.
Vintage A1 stock.
Bullshit CA compliant kydex wrapped pistol grip.
Rifle buffer spring with Standard buffer.
KAC Micro BUIS.
Armalite dust cover rod (longer). The DPMS rod was too short.
Pivot pin was very tight. I had to do a bit of sanding on the pin and hole.
Vickers sling with MASH hooks.
Atlas B10 bipod. I will probably go with a Harris 6-9.
I am still looking for an optic. Probably go with a 12 or 16 power.
Edit due to spelling.......

Considering it was shooting 2" at 100yds, I am not so happy with it right now.

How long is the handguard/gas system/barrel?Here is my LFA 6.5cm, barrel from Compass Lake Engineering, TT Diamond, Lantac Nickel BMG, JP Silent buffer, TBU7

I just Cerakoted mine in "Cobalt Kinetics Green" and it looks similar. Mine has a very faint flake in it, and looks great, not sure if same color but it's the same shade. Check out their color chips that may be it.May I ask what color of green is your mws? I have one that I to send out for paint and dig your color!

The handgaurd is 15", the gas system is a +2" and the barrel is 24". From the research I did and after talking with CLE, I came to the conslusion that a +2" was needed, especially since I am running suppressed. It has an adjustable gas block to dial everything in from there. How long is the handguard/gas system/barrel?
Any accuracy results yet?

Good looking rifle. What you shooting through it?Just finished building this one. Haven’t gotten to the range yet.
Aero recv set, BCG, and m5e1 hand guard.
PRS gen 3 stock
Proof Research SS 22” +2 barrel
PRI muzzle break
Superlative Arms gas block.
Ergo grip
Geissele SSA trigger
PRI gas buster CH
3.5-15 NXS in a Spuhr mount.
Have a Harris bipod with an ARMs bipod mount for now. I’m going to replace that in the future.
She is heavy but hopefully she will be a shooter for me.
6.5 creed currentlyGood looking rifle. What you shooting through it?
Cool, Enjoy. I've got a similarly built rifle using Aero receiver, BCG, and handguard, PRS Gen 2, SSA-E trigger, but a 24" barrel in .243 Win. I absolutely love shooting it and have had it in two PRS matches to date. I'm sure yours will shoot.6.5 creed currently

@Bocephus1776 you're probably better off starting your own build thread, rather than posting in this build info/pic thread looking for advice on a prospective build. This thread seems to be more for showing off your completed build, and providing the build details. You'll probably get a bunch of constructive suggestions if you start your own build thread.Hi y'all. I'm new here and not sure if this is the right thread to post this but it seemed like it to me. I'm building my dad a LR-308 and was wanting some advice. I've built about 10 AR-15's and a couple AR-9's but I know the large frame is a whole other beast. It's mostly going to be for fun and maybe some white tail hunting. Most shots 50-100 yards. We have a spot where we can reach 200 but it won't be something very often ( the property is a couple hours away). I'd like to build with the ability to reach 500 in case one of us gets some property. Here's what I've got
I have:
Lower = American Made Tactical
Upper = American Made Tactical DPMS low pro
BCG = Fail Zero Nickel Boron
Parts I'm looking at:
LPK = CMMG MK3 kit
Trigger = Rose Armament RA-434
Buffer group = KVP carbine tube with 5.6 oz buffer
Stock = MFT Battlelink (he has it on his 5.56 and wants it the same)
Gas Block = probably Faxon or Aero unless y'all recommend an adjustable
And now for the big question;
For the barrel I was looking at the Faxon 20" heavy fluted (p/n: 10B810R20FHQ-5R-NP3) or the Wilson Combat 20" Super Sniper fluted (p/n: TR-308SSRG20FT10) . Everywhere has been out of stock for at least 8 months. Should I wait until one of these comes available or is there another option for around $350?
Also, I'm going to build one for myself as well with pretty much all the same parts except I think I'm going with the PRS stock and I'm willing to spend between $500-600 for the barrel if the extra money is worth it. I was looking at the X-Caliber barrels but they seem to have mixed reviews on here.
Thanks for all the advice and help
Thank you.
