Re: 308 AR10 Groups, et al
Shot these last Thursday
Need more practice with the AR
USAammo 175 SMK's. Got to 6 rounds and started over
USAammo 175 SMK's. Got to 6 rounds and started over haha
FGMM 168's
I struggled with a few things. 1st was consistency with the loading of the bipod. 2nd was cheek weld and paralax. 3rd 4th 5th and 6th was that by the time I shot the 10 round group, I was pissed from poor shooting, the barrel was good and hot and I shot it as it was getting dark. I shot it quick too. I'd say one round every 3 seconds. I need to work on my large AR and bipod-fu. Just not quite used to the extra effort it takes to "run" the gun. I will be a better shooter because of it though.
On top of a hot ass barrel that was the first 10 shot group I have attempted.
I think all of my fundamentals were off on the 10 shot. Trigger control and straight back pull. Cheek weld consistency, consistency of bipod load, breathing and follow through.
If I think of any more excuses I'll be sure to edit this...
I'll have to post some more groups in here when I get some more time on my P308. I will tighten them up for sure. Looking forward to the 200 rounds of Southwest ammunition 175 SMK's from the group buy that should be here soon.
Almost done paying off the G2 HDMR too, that will be nice.
