308 PMAGS

Re: 308 PMAGS

I walked into a mom and pop gun shop today looked over at the rack they hang the mags on and it was empty. As I got a closer look there were 2 pmags 7.62 sitting all by themselves. UNBELIEVABLE!

No, you get a order number when you submit. I had my doubts until they showed up. </div></div>

I got the order # but no e-mail confirmation. Guess I just have to wait and see. </div></div>

I ordered some 308 PMags from JT Distributing early morning 21DEC and they arrived two days ago. A buddy of mine ordered some later that same day and after a call to JT yesterday he found out they're backordered. So, that may be a good indication of when they ran out. If you got your order in before the 21st you should be good (and have them already).

No money charged.

No package of goodness on my porch.

Ugh. A ban is surely eminent now...

FML. </div></div>

Check your e-mail again for UPS delivery confirmation. I did and found a notice from J&T that they shipped last Wednesday and I ordered after you did. I just missed the notification.

I checked the email and the spam folder. Nothing.

I went back to the website and tried logging in. No record of my account.

Oh well. I guess if a package shows up on my porch one day I'll consider it a small personal victory. Not holding my breath until then.

Re: 308 PMAGS

Well, I got on and refreshed over and over after you told us to. My $ is on you getting yours too.

Maybe cause you are close, they did not use UPS and went a different carrier. UPS is taking their sweet time to get out here, 9 days from Illinois including the holidays.

Wtf JT Distributing?

I gotta call these chumps again and see what's up. </div></div>

Dude I feel bad cause you posted that link in the first place. I never got a shipped email. Just the first email that confirmed my order. I even sent them an email 3 days ago asking what the status was with no reply until today a box was at my door. I hope it works out for you man cause right now shit is dry.

Re: 308 PMAGS

Meh. It's cool.

I was just hoping to grab a few at normal prices before things went to stage 3 stupid.

Nice knife btw. I've got a beat up Blur I've been carrying around for a few years.

It would be nice to come home to a box of mags though.

I sent them an email asking what the deal was.

I bet that will do the trick.

If not I have an address where 4 new ones are now

Re: 308 PMAGS

If anyone is still looking www.aditactical.com still shows 308 pmags in stock. I ordered a few before Christmas and just got confirmation that they shipped (with USPS tracking number). I'm not affiliated with them. The only potential downside is it seems to be a small operation and they only accept Paypal as an Internet pay option. If you are ok with that, give them a look.

Re: 308 PMAGS

Can anyone educate me on the difference between the white wrapper 7.62 Pmag and the Tan wrapper Pmag of the same caliber?

They are both labeled SR-25 and appear identical. I am guessing just different production time with wrappers.

Re: 308 PMAGS

hlee, thanks for the tip. I ordered a few. Let's see when I get them.

What's strange is that the shipping was less than $30 for 20 x 308 Pmags, but the second I added 30rd 5.56mm pmags, the shipping amount quadrupled to $123. Not sure what that's about so I just ordered the 308 ones.

Just ordered a few. We'll see if they ship or I get the out of stock notice...

Dont quote me but at some point last year they modified the back locking lug from oval to being squared off b/c it feeds better in the LMT MWS supposedly. I think they changed packaging then.

The same thing happened to me and like you, I dropped the 5.56 mags. Definitely strange and I still have my doubts, but I will be a very happy man if the dozen mags I ended up ordering show up at my doorstep.

Edited to add, I ordered on the 4th and got a "order processing" message an hour or so ago.

I receive the "processing order" email today as well. I'm starting to believe.

But then even well-known places have taken days to actually ship anything. Still, probably wouldn't hurt to proceed with caution going forward. I wouldn't be surprised if some places start springing up to try to take advantage of people. I might google them or check http://www.whois.net/ to see if the domain name has recently been registered, for example.

Re: 308 PMAGS

I placed my order on 12/20/12. I got the processing email on 12/21/12. I got a shipment notice on 1/4/13. Today- 1/7/13- a box with 5 308 pmags was in my mail box.

Has anyone else received an order from them?

Re: 308 PMAGS

I just got an email back from JT about my inquiry of my order.

No record found...

He said send my info again and they would put it in. I don't really want to get at the back of the line at this point.
