Hey guys,
So I've read and read over a period of time here don't know that I've been able to read everything as Im still not great with getting the search feature to find exactly what Im looking for but anyway here goes. First off I have reloaded subsonic .223 and 9mm but new to the subsonic 308. It will be shot out of a 1 in 12 24" FN SPR with 7.62sd suppressor. I would like to shoot at 100yrds with it. I have come to the conclusion that the trail boss is the powder of choice and a round nose bullet is preffered. I wouldn't mind knowing if anyone has loaded for this particular rifle what a good starting load is and what exact bullet and col. would be. I think 180gr bullet is what I was leaning towards but again don't know for sure. My main concern is somewhere I had read about the subsonic loads running a risk of having extreme pressures for some reason at some point not the initial 1st shot but after several shots or so. I couldn't remember if it was due to unburnt powder left in the barrel or what. If someone could please clarify this for me as I can't figure out where I read it and of all things I would rather not ruin a rifle if I can help it. Thanks in advance for the help I know you guys get tired of the same old questions being asked.
