"No, I want to make it very clear that everyone needs to make sure they don’t even begin to come across the wrong way. The site doesn’t need that kind of attention. Be it racism, extremism, anti-police, etc.

I am going to have to respectfully disagree with your assessment and approach. You picked a word to fit your agenda to show your authority. That should of been handled behind the scenes. CNN and MSNBC do this all the time and we can not be those people. I use to tell my kids to stop acting like a bunch of monkeys and it had no racial overtone. Although I understand you want to keep the Hide out of the spot light, this is exactly what got us in this position in the first place. I really hope the guy didn't mean anything by the term but you are wrong in your approach and never gave the guy the benefit of the doubt to clarify his intent or why he used the term. If you can't manage your emotions bases off the trigger words then you don't need to be a moderator and you will create more issues for the Hide. Ask the guy to refrain from the wording do to the current political climate and give him the benefit of the doubt that he meant no disrespect to anyone. Be polite and non aggressive until you know the intentions. You might actually promote the site.
