I have a an encore rifle with a 26 in stainless fluted barrel. The problem is very light gun and very big bullet. It is brutal to shoot from a bench. Way worse then my 375hh and 338 lapua. I mean not fun at all. So I am thinking about breaking it for bench shooting and practice. What are a couple of well designed 458 break.

Area 419 makes some really nice brakes. You might get ahold of them and see if they could bore it for your 458. The Hellfire model on my heavy barreled 308 has had zero point of impact change along with every other muzzle brake I have fitted to this rifle. A good heavy barrel is less likely to experience POI changes than a light one.

I have a 45 Raptor, use a SilencerCo ASR brake on it to mount my hybrid. But it works very well as a stand alone brake. Not sure what your thread pitch is, but they have a few on their website. But this is the one I use, as the thread pitch is 3/4x24, I couldn't find a 3/4 x 24 thread pitch .458 bore brake on SiCo website, only on Brownells.
Wish I'd known that before I bored out a 338 ASR for 45 Raptor! Looks like SiCo also has a .46 ASR but w/ 11/16x24 thread.
