5 juveniles stomp Marines??

I have a feeling that San Clemente is going to increase in popularity for Marines on leave. As in, a larger group of them. Looking for fun and frivolity.
Classic wolfpack mentality at play yet again. One on one, the Marine kicked that mofo's ass instantly. Thug attacked the Marine first, and then he immediately turns around and rams the thug into the ground. Then the wolfpack pounces, just like the flashmob videos we've seen elsewhere and in "diverse" areas of Europe as well.
Robert A. Heinlein continues to be prophetic. He predicted the woke sickness in Starship Troopers. Mobs of delinquents assaulting soldiers and veterans in the street with no fear of intervention was one of the aspects of the woke infestation in the years leading up to the pendulum swing AKA the formation of the Federation, and then the Hegemony War which made the Federation the leading planetary governing entity in the end, based and with no more fucks to give.

The latest information seems to more play out that the "heroes" were kind of being drunk and disorderly themselves and it was a bit more complicated than first reported

New Marine beatdown video calls into question innocence of soldiers
Nine teens have been arrested over the attack which saw the servicemen kicked as they lay on the ground on San Clemente beach on Friday night.
No win situation for the Marines. With those kinds of odds the only option is to take a beating and hope you live or use a weapon and start killing or maiming "innocent youths".
How about just say what really happened.

I read everything Heinlein ever wrote, including essays. And he had seen communism and socialism first-hand. And there were people protesting the Korean "Police Action." And yes, it can eventually lead to singular government and fighting forces. However, I do know some Marines. When you take on one, you take on the entire Corp. So, yeah, the kidnicks are going to fare a little better in prison or jail, for now. If I were their parents, I would look into moving some place else.
Of course, I would never suggest retaliatory actions. Neither would the USMC.
Those youngsters should probably stay out of dark alleys.

I could say the same thing about the Bible.
I guess it depends on where you live. It would not have happened in the deep South, because, so many people carry and those numbers are a lethal threat, youth, or not. Does no one carry a good blade, anymore? I'd have gutted three or four, at least. If a person is faced with many opponents, it's a lethal threat to be met with lethal force. Damn, those that don't like it.

Yeah that should happen. Have two Marines as stalking horses and about fifty distributed as tail gunners. With key exits covered by a few others.
Had the Marines in the story gone back to back they could have won the fight.
