Night Vision 5X Mil-Spec Magnifier Lens

Hello,

Can I use 5X Mil-Spec Magnifier Lens with N-Vision GT-14 monocolar? I can make my self custom made adapter. For me it is important that lens is suitable for N-Vision? Is it works?

With a Gen 3 tube it should be a good view but the 5x Mil-Spec does take a bit of light away unlike the 3x version.

They are also very expensive (5x) for the Mil-Spec glass.

In my moncolorar there is XR5 tube. ??

XR5 is <span style="font-style: italic">roughly</span> equivalent to Gen3 Omni IV.

Does the GT14 have threads in the objective to accept PVS14 accessories?
I had to use a push on collar adapter to my MUM

I can make my self custom made adapter this is no problem. I´m worryed about focus distance and optics. I do not feel comfort in these things.

You don't need any adapter with a GT14. Both the 3x and 5x milspec lenses will screw right into the front objective lens.

The older Mums needed an adapter but that has been fixed with the newer housing.
