6.5 Creedmoor with 143 gr ELD-X

I found a nice load, keeps steady at sub 0.3 MOA. Sounds good, right? Tried shooting it with the chronograph and the velocity was waaaaaay off from what both Norma and Quickload stated. So, guys, what crazy things are going on here?

Bullet: 143 gr Hornady eld-x
Casing: Starline
Powder: Norma URP
Primer: Federal, small rifle

Load: 40.3 gr
OAL to ogive: 2.250" (.040 jump)
COAL: 2.881"

Velocity: 2477 fps

What powder are you using?

*Edit: Well, I am dumb. Ignore my question. I don't have any experience with that powder though. Most loads I see people use are a little more gr. of powder than that running H4350 or RL16.

Tried two of them, not sure what brands though, they're not mine. One was a regular and the other was magnetospeed(?)

24", it's a Tikka CTR

Tikka barrels are notoriously on the slow side.
Don’t know anything about that powder though.
I’m running the same bullets with .02” jump, 42 gr 4350, Lapua brass, cci 450, and a 24” Benchmark barrel gets me 2780 FPS.

Totally agree, that's kind of where I should be with same amount of URP. That's what I've been getting from every company plus Quickload. Everyone thought, almost guaranteed, that I should be around 2650-ish with 40.3 gr but here I am ?
