So glad I found this thread. Although we don’t have most of the powders listed due to our crappy laws, some of the ingredients have been banned. I’m shocked they are still allowed in California

I’ve got a 20” 6mm creed with Lothar Walther barrel and with 42.7gr RS62 and 87gr v-Max only getting 2700fps which is far too slow. Confirmed by the speeds listed on here. I’m going to try Viht N140 next. N150 was to slow and didn’t give obturation, I got spot on the rim of the case even with going over book data. I had people run the book data through quick load and the results were interesting. According to that it was way below working pressure and shouldn’t be used. Just in case anyone else has to use viht, it might be useful information.

My rifle built on a sako 85 with a kKC laminate. I had planned to use a McMillan but they stopped inletting for sako just as I had it built.

I’ve built a 6mm Creedmoor with an 18-inch barrel and it shoots the 75 and 87 grain V-MAX rounds really well. The 18-inch barrel gives you solid velocity and accuracy, even with a suppressor attached. I’ve noticed that with the suppressor, there’s a bit more weight upfront, but it doesn’t mess with the balance too much. I’d recommend going with the 18-inch if you want a good balance of velocity and portability.

I’ve got a 16” and 26” 6 Creedmoor. I get 3k out of 87’s with the 16” and 3.3k out of the 26” with the same load. The shorty is probably one of my favorite guns
