Jerry, the 6x5 gets posted on the 6x5 thread, not on the William Buck matches thread.Larry
Does that include the 6x5 target also?
Jerry
Thank you Men I'm more excited what this barrel will do past 300 yds with the chamber and crown mods.great shooting Rimdenter, I have you on the latest results at 50
I hate the wind that gun will shoot like group 2 and 6 in last photo more often then not. Wind is my enemy on my hill multiple cross winds due to opposing hills and 2 draws.I attempted the 6x5 with two different ammo, out of curiosity. Sight-in / fowling 10-shot groups went well.

The wind picked up quite a bit, but I decided to try it anyway. Not a good idea.
First the Center-X.

I've been wondering if that lot is having some odd fliers in my rifle, so I tried some SK Rifle Match.

I'll wait for less wind next time.![]()
Thank you and thank you for keeping this thread.NotMOA, welcome. That is a gold shooting Tikka, I have you on the results.
Cool, so you know this isnt a monthly thing you can submit as often as you like. I enjoy seeing peoples targets.Yes it the same rifle as I used last month.
Thanks
Nice shooting and beautiful rifle.Today I tried the 6X5 at 100 yards. I usually shoot ten-shot groups at 100. It was calm this morning, about 65 deg. F at first, rising to 80 deg. by the time I was finished later in the morning.
Below is the second target I shot with a lot of Midas + that is good but often has one or more strays in each box as can be seen. The six group average is 0.676 inches (.646 MOA).
My best 6X5 target this morning was shot with a lot of CX that never seems to produce the smallest of groups but is almost always consistently under an inch at 100. The six group average is 0.651 inches (.622 MOA).
Below is the rifle, a 1973 vintage Anschutz, originally a 1411 prone model, now with an Anschutz BR50 stock. The scope is a SIIB 36X. The front rest shown is the one used today.

Jerry is this the V-22s or a different rifle? Here is my target at 50 yards.
Vudoo V22
Nightforce 15x55-52
Midas+
Amazing shooting. Was sighting in the Vudoo with some new ammo at 50 yds and the zero session turned into a "6XFly". Only went 4 for 6, so I will post an official target when I get all six....
