Bump for the 6XC. I am going out and doing more load testing tomorrow. I went with Norma brass, CCI Br2 primers, H4350, and naked DTACS. Here comes the fun

39.5 H4350
115 DTAC BN
Norma brass
CCI 200 or BR 2
.005 off the lands
2850fps at 70 degrees. It's a 21" bbl. That's all the velocity I need with a .585BC bullet. What kinda velocity do you get with this load? Barrel length? 41.6grs H4350 or so in my 6 Creed gives me 3052, 41.9grs. 3086. Same BN coated DTAC.

Have a look in the cold bore group thread. Two pics there. 2.3" five rounds at 500m for .4 MOA.You ever shoot that out to 600? If so, moa of your groups?
39.5 H4350 and 105-107 anything jump .010 works well for me in a 26 in 1-7.5 Bartlein 5R and Barnard P action. 10 shots will group under .5 with a sling and irons at 100.
What's your thoughts on using Norma 22-250 brass?

40.0 RE17 with Moly 115 DTACS jumping .010 resulted in a 200-17x at 600 yds iron sights and a sling.
37.0 Varget with a 90 Lapua was tremendously accurate as well.
Norma brass is great, but hard to find, and I don't have that many.. I did not like the win 22-250 brass due to smaller base and thin rim, but have had great results with Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor brass sized into 6xc brass, no neck turning required, equal capacity to Norma brass. Recently made some 6xc Brass from Lapua 308 Palma brass to try. had to turn the necks on these. Made 25 just to try. Havent had a chance yet. I will probably sort out 100 pieces of regular lapua 308 brass to use for matches. I size in a 260 rem die, then a 243 die, then in a 6xc die by screwing it down a half turn at a time from first contact on the shoulder to full length sizing. then trim and run in a mandrel, turn the neck, then size again with a .268 bushing and load. pretty easy to do. I use dillon spray lube on the cases once in the begining, never ube again. I tried imperial but it would cause crushed shulders 50% of the time, no matter how thin a coat i thought I had, the dillon lube hasnt crushed one yet.
