Hey guys how much water does the case hold after fire forming?

Yes, i posted the MagnetoSpeed pic in the other thread. Ran them to 3003 FPS but settled on 2910 FPS. Just loaded up 3 charge weights. All shot sub .5 moa at 100. Settled on the lowest SD ES and took that load to a mile.

That’s gonna be a nice stable load.
Your 30 FPS faster than me.

That bullet will run at 3k FPS all day long from a 26 inch (no pressure signs in my chamber w the added FB). Waiting on the AMP pilot to come available before i settle on loads.

It’s done it’s finally complete! Thanks to Garret Maine Preece he knocked it out of the park and fast. 7mm Max Sherman can’t wait to get this brass fire formed so I can get on to my hot loads.

-58.5gr. of RL-23
-Berger 175 elite hunter
-2790-2800fps
-90rds dow the pipe still fire forming brass
-Stuff bolt lift hopefully that goes away after forming the brass.
-1 hole groups at 100yd and clover leaf 200yd Groups so far.

Thinking of going with the 169gr or 177gr Hammer hunters! But don’t wonna give up the accuracy.

Finished forming 100 pieces of brass with the Berger 175’s, moved on to the Berger 195 with n570. Great accuracy at 2920fps just like with the Berger 175’s over rl-23, but I tell you what that n570 gets the barrel hot quick.

What are your speeds with the 175 that are fire formed?

N570 190 A-Tip 3003 fps loaded to 3.200 w fire formed brass. New brass w 40 degree shoulder 3050 fps w same charge weight.

26 inch, have 4 firings on some brass. Good to go, never any sign of pressure w the 190 A-tip. I’m throated long w a short jump for the heavies.

Anyone have any luck in the 7max OR 7SS with 7828ssc?

I put an order in for 7MAX dies and brass and barrels for me and 7SS kit for my daughters rifle. She’ll be running a 22” 7SS mine will be a 26” 7MAX
