I'm thinking Hodgdon (who owns IMR) is pushing this as a marketing agenda. It will work and it's very accurate powder. But, it won't give best velocity and from what I know about reloading, best accuracy.
FWIW, AA did the same thing with XMR2015. That stuff is great Benchrest powder. Very accurate and consistent in small cases. But, when you move it up to larger cases, you get too much pressure before you get velocity no. 1 and no. 2 with the newer retardants being made to coat the powder, you start getting inconsistencies at above normal pressures where the retardant kicks in. It will help a little but not to the point it's going to compete with 4350 and slower powders.
