7wsm shooters

Re: 7wsm shooters

Badger short action DBM's will work. And it actually uses the AI .308 mags. The only difference is they are modified.

The plate in the front is usually removed for longer OAL
and the feed lips are widened.

I buy my the modified 308 mags for my WSM from GA Precision. Alpha mags has a 10 round WSM mag they sell too

Re: 7wsm shooters

Something else to consider would be the Seekins WSM DBM assembly. They offer an internal mag length of 3.14" so you will have no issues with nearly any bullet you wish to shoot. A slight modification is needed to the bottom of some actions but could be justified if you need it for long bullets.

Re: 7wsm shooters

I have a Seekins set up on my 7wsm and it operates nicely. My smith did the modifications to my action so that I am able to load what I want. The freebore wasnt cut to an extreame length as I had it set up for the 162 A-max. I'm at the lands at 2.95 COAL which works out pretty good with room to spare in the magazine. It's a great set-up for the short action and the mag release is very comfortable especially when switching from an AR platform.
