I always come home from the range with more brass than I fired. I wish that was true for the .45 acp, too.
I never have enough brass.
I've been using 147 grain lead bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. in my XDMs the 5.25 and the 3.8 don't seem to be length sensitive at all. I tried different OAL with my Browning and didn't find anything that worked well. The XDMs are eating up all those different length reloads box after box and giving me as good a group as the Winchester white box or Federal fmj ammo.
Its got to fit in the magazine and feed from the magazine and chamber. I load out as long as I can to get those 3 things and it works in my 9mm guns.
