access. mounting rails for 700

have seen a short 3-sided pic. rail mounted on the barrel or
possibly the stock just forward of the far end of a scope set-up on a precision bolt rig--my question is who makes these?
or do they come with certain custom stocks--I have seen them on
military and civilian rifles

I think your looking for the McCann Industries mounts. They make a wide variety of mounts for rifles which go forward of the scope mounts to allow attachment of nvis and other stuff

No worries. A friend of mine is looking to buy a tac50 and the package hes looking at comes with the MIRS/mc50 so I was just doing some research on them the other day. Knew this had to be what you were looking for as I've never seen anything else like them.
