Accuracy International AT-X

Some notes for people who may be still waiting and are curious:

It seems like the Full Length Night vision bridges ship without the screws to attach them to the chassis. What seemed to work for me (at least so far) are M5-0.80X10 mm Flat Socket cap screws.

- The Full length (long) night vision bridge won't fit a Tangent 525P (56mm Objective) with medium Hawkins rings (1" tall)
- The long Night Vision Bridge will fit with the Spuhr SP-4006 (1.35")
- If you strip your Torx Spuhr screws trying to torque them to 45 in pounds (the mount to rail screws) M5 with a 3mm hex head seems to be a great replacement that doesn't strip so easily.

- If you want to make your AT-X heavier because you want to be a gamer in PRS - the internal channel will take 3 weights. Install them starting at the muzzle end first and work towards the action.

I had my smith also add R-Lok dimples to the bottom of the Arca rail so I can use R-Lok from RRS once they start shipping updated heads/clamps. Once I can verify it works if anyone else needs it done, I am happy to have a conversation with you about the process. I will likely charge for this service. However I want to make sure it is 100% before we start offering it as a service, and I haven't been able to test yet.

hope you got the rrs head and a LR RRS clamp, the arca swiss clamp on the cyke pod (with the "dial" kinda sucks). Its what i have on my ATX and just get the RRS head and had a clamp here ... far far better

I agree with you on the Ckyepod - the lever is certain much faster IMO - and I am very used to it on the Anvil 30.

We have (1) Ckyepod with the RRS interface, but the problem is the SC-LR's to attach to them. We can't keep the SC-LR's in stock which IIRC is what you need for the top of the Ckyepod with the RRS Interface.

https://www.bisontactical.com/mdt-ckye-pod/ (we have 1)
https://www.bisontactical.com/rrs-sc-lr/ (out and waiting on possible restock - but RRS is severely backordered which converting over to R-Lock or ARC technology)

1+ year. People who pre-ordered early last year are still waiting. Lots of missed deadlines. 9 months if lucky.
I think that all depends on what color you ordered. Having ordered a month ago, I’m sitting at number 10 for a DE. If that batch that was posted a month ago ever showed up to EO, I definitely won’t be waiting 9 months.

I can tell you I ordered 1 month ago with euro for a DE and my place in line hasn’t changed.

Wow! I guess the 6.5 prc ATX gonna be longer since AI is busy getting out outstanding orders?

They haven’t even released a short action magnum bolt face yet.
Yes.. what I meant is that 6.5 prc version that is said to be release will probably be longer. Since they have to full fill outstanding orders. We all know the 6.5 prc version is coming out later.

The AT-X had its launch on January 18, 2021 which would have been the first day of the Shot Show. It was impossible to order early last year.
Unfortunately one of our US Shooting Team said April for deliveries but that was never the case. I had hoped for June but in fact we made our first deliveries at the beginning of July. We then had unexpected delays in manufacturing for first production but these are now behind us.
We will have shipped all of our first US production and most of our first U K production by Christmas. We will ship all of our second production by March 2022 and be back to our plan by June.
If you order now you will receive an AT-X by June 2022 at the latest.

Picked mine up the day before Thanksgiving from MH. Changed out the grip to a Fab Defense. This was a 5 shots after getting it on paper.
142 grains Sierra match kings. 41.6 gr H4350. The DE looks so good in person ! Pre ordered it in mid March

So yes to just a grippy Do-Dad? No way I'm gonna tool up for milling them, but if you're not familiar with my MJF printing you're missing out. Leagues above the FDM printing you listed and probably preferable for this task. Could do a superior grip pattern at a substantially lower cost, similar weight if adding heft is the goal...or nearly weightless if not.
Yes, it's a grippy doo-dad. Fits over the welded bottom of the AW mags (the tabs on each side). A set screw (IIRC) locks them to the mag.

If you make them, I'd be down for 2-4 without hesitation.

I don't know exactly when I ordered but it was "spring" and MH doesn't give out numbers.

Black and waiting. (called Oct 31 and was told black is last).

SInce I started bitching I'm sure, I'm "extra last"
I ordered black from euro on June first and got ship notification Friday. Tracking says I’ll have it tomorrow. When I ordered June first I was number 6 in line.

Piggy backing off of @BLKWLFK9 12rd AW mag, I cut the bottom out of one of mine as well. Spring passed through the bottom quite easily but an issue I saw was the follower bottoming out in the mag, essentially a hard stop no matter how much extra travel the follower spring had. I could get 12 but when I’d push the top round, the whole stack would move with it… no go for me.

BLK said his 12th was tight and the last round had very little spring tension with the 419 extension but ran ok in the rifle. I wanted to play with mine some more.

What I ended up doing was removing a very small amount of material on the underside of the follower. That gave me clearance to run the 12th and not have it be tight. I also opted to try the Altus 2rd base plate, which is about half the depth of the 419, which gives that last round added and appropriate spring tension.

All in all, BLK had the idea and I just wanted to give my take and maybe slight improvement. Whatever the debate, having a 12th in the AW mag vs grabbing it from the quiver is better for me, because I ALWAYS forget I shot 11 and pull the trigger on an empty chamber. ALWAYS…

That's because we have fulfilled all the DE 1st cycle orders for Euro Optic. New DE shipments will be against 2nd cycle orders.
I appreciate the updated posts from you Scott but I’m confused. AI social media posted on October 30th (month ago) a photo of DE rifles and said “headed to Mile High and Euro Optic”.

According to Euro, they were aware of that post and that shipment never showed up. As of two days ago, they told me they expect a shipment of DE rifles any day.

Hate to be that guy but it seems there is zero comms between anybody in this process.
