thats the funniest post ive seen in a while!
@trophyhunter came out with it first and sold the design to Bugholes. Bugholes was going to offer them to the public, but decided to stand down because AI is supposed to do it soon and bugholes is to busy apparentlyI like this .223 bolt deal, tell me more.
And the other half will live long enough to see themselves fill the Golden Corral on Jello night after a long day of being an RO at the neighborhood public range.Half the hide will die of old age before a 223 bolt gets released![]()
Let’s state this correctlyHalf the hide will die of old age before a 223 bolt gets released![]()
“I’m your huckleberry” -For you guys who have enough machinist knowledge.......
Could a .223 bolt be made for an axmc or axsr?
I know this is a pipedream ........but it's a dream I've always had (even put together some builds in my head and on paper before that actually will shoot. 223 through .338LM.)
With the new David Tubb XC calibers.........an AXMC or AXSR setup and a .223 bolt.......shooting .223 through. 37XC or even .41XC could be done off ONE rifle.
Yes I realize this doesn't appeal to everyone......and trust me just with the small amount of rifles and suppressors I have so far....if money wasn't an issue I'd have a rifle in every caliber I wanted with whatever optic I wanted and a suppressor on every one......zeroed and ready to rock and roll.
However having the same chassis, same trigger and same optic with same cheek weld EVERY time is VERY appealing to me.
Those who think this could be done please chime in![]()

Listen, there's a reason I lost 200lbs of fat....I beat diabetes and obesity, I'll beat this too.Half the hide will die of old age before a 223 bolt gets released![]()
What mags are you running .223 out of?223 kit on my AX.
Guys, we are moving forward on this. We have been struggling keeping up with parts sales and Gunsmithing since last fall, considering our new current market circumstances.
So if you could be patient, we will have something to deliver.
I've told a few guys we were laying off the project due to a recent AI "announcement", but I've never gotten anywhere sitting around waiting for someone else to do something. So we are moving forward...

Looks like the bolt is doing its job in the last picFrom a match 2 weekends ago. Super dusty and it managed to lock up my comp trigger. Luckily it didn't lock up during the match but when I got home and started to clean it.

Eh. Wonder what type of screws are being used on that Spuhr and the Quiver?I just got my Sawtooth AI handgrip. It fits and looks awesome. Only thing I would have liked different is if the bolts holding it on were 4mm like all the other bolts on the gun.

If all it takes is a hose to clean a rifle that looks like that... sign me up.Until you get home and have to hose it down... Hell to the naw naw.
Maybe. I have one and have and have shot a 2 day in stone dusty WV and had 0 issues. But in the off chance I do, the beauty of and AI is, I have the stock trigger in my pack.Hearing lots of stories about the Comp trigger having issues.
