Join the contest SubscribeI did use a similar set up and used the Vortex PMR 1.1" rings for a season. You could probably get away with a Spuhr 4001 but it depends on your barrelprofile and the scopecaps, it might be a tight fit. The 1.5" is way too much, unless its needed to line up with nightvision clip on or similar.any1 running a post14 AICS chassis, w a Vortex Razor 4.5-27x? If so, what scope height rings are you using? Im looking for a Spuhr mount but undecided btwn 1.5" (#4002) or 1.35" (#4006). Im temporarily using a G-mount thats 1.5" height and the gap btwn the bottom of the scope and the top of the rail is more than .25" Can i use the shorter mount (#4006)? or stick to 1.5"? or any other recc on mounts/rings?![]()
Keep the scope nice and high your neck will thank youany1 running a post14 AICS chassis, w a Vortex Razor 4.5-27x? If so, what scope height rings are you using? I am, mine went on without too much argument though. I like it better than the curved shoe... That being said, I did just order one of those trigger shoes that Vision did recently... I really think it's gonna be the answer for me.anyone here replace their curved trigger shoe with a flat? I got my flat trigger shoe for my ASR but buggered if i can get it on.
Got a link? I’ve been looking to try something else.I am, mine went on without too much argument though. I like it better than the curved shoe... That being said, I did just order one of those trigger shoes that Vision did recently... I really think it's gonna be the answer for me.
So I'd love to be more helpful than this, but I really can't. I think I heard about this thru Dave ( @BLKWLFK9 ) & I just contacted Vision directly. I guess they're not exactly ready to sell, but they're selling me one... Think they had like 8 of them. My guess is that they'll be available thru GCP (who I believe is importing all of their products) before too long. Sorry I can't just give you a simple link.Got a link? Some of us can only dream of owning a long gun like this

How many different shades of green is a “sage” green AX?
only asking because I collected one today.
It looks like all these gay camo patterns are even worseDon’t know how I missed this one, but the colors match pretty well.
Problem with Sage green is the barrels shoot about 11% slower than any other color, and some guys have seen a 43% increase in group size with Sage after switching from any other color.
Good news is you can Cerakote it literally any other color and that stuff all sorts itself out.
please shareIt was a great weekend. Got my leveling base off a buddy. View attachment 7607313
and F no, that’s not my place. It’s a AB&B. I’m AI poor.
It’s the craziest of feelings. I’m not even into the heavier tac stuff anymore and with kids and a young family and can’t afford a lighter field style rifle without selling the AI. Anytime I get to touch a custom build I think “man this thing is badass, but it’s just not an AI”. So I’m not selling the AI and just making it as light as I can lol. Which will probably still be in that 14 lbs range but selling my AX is not something I’m about to regret anytime soon!Wow... I don’t wanna jerk off too hard since I don’t have any lotion with me on this 2.5hr drive home from the range but man..... I have really been missing out not owning a AI
Had my AXSA out that I picked up here used in the PX at the range today with my DT SRS & TS Customs build... all shoot better then me.. couldn’t help but notice how much better the AI was to drive though. All I can say is wow
What are you doing to attempt to bring the weight down? I am picking up an AT sometime this year and currently looking at ordering barrels. Trying to decide if I want to go with a CFW barrel to save a pound on these pigs. I don't mind weight, but I prefer the 12 lbs range. 15 starts to get miserable. The other build I would do in place of an AI would be 2lbs lighter, but it wouldn't be an AI. lolIt’s the craziest of feelings. If you are asking about the big scope, yes it is a US Optics SN-9. The top rifle is .300WM, the middle is .338 Lapua, the bottom is .308.Wtf am I looking at here.....
That thing is WILD looking. If you are asking about the big scope, yes it is a US Optics SN-9.
I’m right now playing with a 4-32 NX8 after selling my Gen 2 razor (28 oz scope. It’s weight influenced my decision. I know not everyone loves the scope and other love them. I think it’s has it’s limits on the top end of magnification but in that 4-20x range its a great scope). I ordered a Victor Company rail (I know doesn’t apply to the AT). I have a 16.5” Light Palma 6.5cm barrel on order from PVA that hopefully will be here soon. I would think being conscious of weight in scope decision with a short and light barrel you’d probably be lighter than the AX, but I guess that’s under the assumption that chassis is lighter. That target weight is with TBAC Ultra 7 suppressor too. What are you doing to attempt to bring the weight down? I am picking up an AT sometime this year and currently looking at ordering barrels. It is not an official offering, no.This was never a AI official offering was it?
