How’s the rigidity of the arca AT spigot mount? I have the pic rail version, but I am considering switching to the arca because I have a RRS arca bottom rail. I am unwilling to give up durability though, so have you experienced any flex or shifting?
None at all. Solid as stock insert. Made by Anarchy Outdoors

Yes, I designed the AT spigot mounts (pic and arca), as well as the thumb rest, AX cheek piece, and anti-rotation QD sling mount for KeySlot. All sold through Anarchy Outdoors.

I still think the Arca spigot mount looks a bit odd, like it’s too thin or something. But I did extensive FEA on it and confirmed it’s stiffer than an MPA BA spigot or the KRG spigot. It’s rock solid.

I told you to buy this when you bought your AI. But you never listen.

First, I wouldn’t have an AI at all if I “never” listened to you.

Second, it was INFORMATION OVERLOAD when I got it. You were like get this. And that. And this. And this company makes precuts (I didn’t even know what a precut was) And I was like whoa….

Third, my bad, fren.

Precut? Or prefit lol either way, you jumped down the right rabbit hole getting an AI!

See, @RS14 I still don’t know what I’m talking about lol, don’t I get points for trying?

I was shooting PRS with a Curtis action, Brux barrel, and Manners chassis put together by GCP. Shot pretty well but I’ve always loved the AWM in God’s color so I just jumped right in and bought an AT.

Had no idea about anything with AI. Was told I can change my barrel quickly and get a vision foreend for it and an AX stock, but I like the traditional look which is why I got the AT in the first place.

Pic thread: Used it to blow up some tannerite and scare the hell out of cattle.

You've been awarded three points for an honest effort lol get the vision chassis and find thumbhole skins for your AT. Best looking setup tbh

YAASSSSSS, Rick saved the cerakote recipe for the best color on earth, as I am on the list for a set when they make it to him 😍😍😍 now it's just time to find an ar grip I actually like

Sir you're posting pictures of a suppressed AX with a Ckye Pod on an RRS... With all due respect, shut up. Hahaha
Yeah. I blew my scope budget on that Ckye pod, that 34L, and ultra 9 😂😂😂.

I had traded my ZCO for a TT at the time but needed to finish getting load data and I had that scope laying around lol my AI is somewhere between IL and CO in a freight truck wearing an AO chassis.

Fair enough, so you clearly recognize this for what it is, a stop-gap solution to an immediate problem. As long as it's not long-term, I'll allow it... And rocking that AO chassis, I know you to be a discerning individual, so I'm confident it is not. Carry on.

Nope it was a 1 day deal last year. The fudds on the range were laughing at me, the RO's made me sit by myself. Very embarrassing. 0/10 don't recommend 😂

Got the AO. Now waiting on my ZCO to ship from @CSTactical 😉 5-27NLE 3X

I'm really thinking pretty seriously about getting that NLE in my life... Seems like I read that since it didn't come this way, I need to send the scope back to CST... Is that correct?
No. I have the info you desire in regards to shipping the scope back to ZCO. But I messed with the NLE version at shot, I'm pretty excited to get mine in hand!

Hi,

Excellent point...

Except if you're running & gunning, go to dial elevation, push the cap halfway down & get stuck. As I NEVER fire a shot without first checking my elevation, I don't see a downside.

The only time I can see someone really using a locking elevation turret is if you're in a hunting scenario (either two leg or four leg), dial in MPB & make movement with that on the rifle.

Furthermore, I don't care if you think me getting a NLE is a good idea or not. If by 'safe queen' you mean that my rifles are stored in a safe, then you are 100% correct.

Sincerely,
J-Ham
